 Bay Area Workers Support

This is a list of therapy providers who responded to a brief Q&A about serving sex workers, self-ID as “sex worker friendly”, and volunteered to release their information on our website. BAWS does not officially endorse any of the therapists, but we have done initial vetting to have them be on this list.

Our primary goal is to provide Bay Area sex workers with more: Mutual aid, Information and resources, and Social support and care.

Melanin & Mental Health

Melanin & Mental Health was born out of a desire to connect individuals with culturally competent clinicians committed to serving the mental health needs of Black & Latinx/Hispanic communities. We are committed to promoting the growth and healing of our communities through our website, online directory, and monthly events.

Latinx Therapists Action Network

We are an online platform and network of Latinx mental health practitioners honoring and affirming the dignity and healing of migrant communities marginalized by criminalization, detention, and deportation.

The therapists listed in this directory are committed to providing therapy or other mental health services for those in need on a sliding scale for a maximum of 12 sessions at this scale. This sliding scale starts at $25 and goes up to $75. The pricing will vary based on the agreement between the therapist and the client.
