Self-Defense w/ Mollii Khansengsing
AAPI Women Lead partnered up with Mollii Khangsengsing, the first Laotian fem black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) with 13 years of training, for a 1.5 hour virtual (recorded!) self-defense program. Intro to Safety & Self-Defense teaches awareness and preventative safety strategies. Students also learn effective physical techniques addressing the most common attack situations. These techniques rely on smart body positioning rather than strength, speed, or athleticism. Whatever your age, experience level, or athleticism, you can learn to safely diffuse or escape from dangerous situations. At the same time, you will develop confidence to assert yourself, set boundaries, and de-escalate potential conflicts.
Practice with Khangsengsing today!
You can make a choice to actively and visibly take a stand against harassment. The Five D’s are different methods you can use to support someone who’s being harassed, emphasize that harassment is not okay, and demonstrate to people in your life that they too have the power to make our communities and workplaces safer.
